Open Doors: Stepping into hope together

There are seasons in life that feel as though every door has been closed. We are left unsure of what lies ahead, wondering whether it is safe to step forward, and uncertain if anyone will walk with us through what comes next.

For many survivors of trafficking and exploitation, life has been marked by countless closed doors—doors to safety, stability, dignity, and healing.

At Zeteo Community, we want to meet each survivor we are called to serve with an “open door.” This is more than a physical space. It represents a listening ear, consistent care, and a community that refuses to give up. Through safe support, trauma-informed services, and long-term relationships, we walk alongside survivors as they take each step forward.

That is the heart behind our theme for our upcoming benefit, “Open Doors: Stepping Into hope together”. Every one of you is part of opening the doors for each survivor. Every gift, every hour served, every prayer, and every act of generosity becomes part of someone’s journey toward freedom and wholeness. Together, we create spaces where women and their children are seen, valued, and empowered to reclaim their identity.
Our annual benefit is more than an evening of gathering. It is an invitation.

  • An invitation to stand in the gap.
  • An invitation to open your heart and your hands.
  • An invitation to become part of restoration and transformation in our community.

We invite you to step into hope with us, and we encourage you to invite others you know on the journey with you, too. May this year be marked by open doors filled with hope all across Dane County and beyond!

Leadership persepctives

What a joy it will be to gather with you at Open Doors: Stepping into hope together on April 10! Whenever we come together for our spring event, we see more than tables and decorations—we see a community. We see answered prayers. We see men and women who have chosen to be moved by compassion, not compulsion. Each of you is part of what God is building through Zeteo Community.

Years ago, when the Lord first placed this vision on our hearts, we could not have imagined how many faithful partners He would bring alongside us. You are a testimony to His goodness. The same God who opens prison doors and sets captives free is opening doors right here in Dane County—doors to safety, healing, belonging, and a future filled with hope.

Our prayer is simple: that you will be encouraged by what God is doing, inspired by the resilience of the women we are privileged to serve, and confident that your partnership is making a generational impact.

With gratitude and expectation,

Kenton & Marlene

Last month, we held our very first Evening of Gratitude. It was a time for Zeteo Community leaders and volunteers to gather, reflect, and celebrate together. It was truly a gift. Each person’s compassion, dedication, and willingness to show up in so many ways over the past year is making a lasting impact in the lives of the women we serve now—and those we will serve in the years to come.

The time, energy, and heart invested help create safe spaces where healing can happen, even as we wait for our doors to open.

As we draw closer to that season, we know many more of you may be called to serve in new—and perhaps unexpected—ways. Whether you feel led to get involved through direct service, events, advocacy, prayer, or behind-the-scenes support, your unique gifts matter.

If you’re ready to take your next step as a volunteer, we would love to connect with you. Please visit our website and click on the “Get Involved” tab to learn more.

Thank you for being part of this community.

On Friday, April 10, 2026, Zeteo Community will host our annual benefit, Open Doors: Stepping into hope together, at the Monona Terrace.

Ticketing is now open, and invitations have officially been mailed! We are filled with anticipation as we look forward to gathering both familiar and new faces—friends who have journeyed with us for years and those stepping into the story for the first time—in joyful support of the mission of Zeteo Community.

This special evening is more than an event. It is a celebration of what God has done and what He continues to do through a faithful community. Together, we will honor lives being restored, reflect on doors He has already opened, and look ahead with confidence to the healing and hope still to come.

We cannot wait to welcome you. Secure your tickets, invite others to join your table, and plan to celebrate with us as we step into hope together.

“There I will give back her vineyards to her and transform her Valley of Trouble into a Door of Hope.” Hosea 2:15a
