Safe haven for trafficking survivors begins to take shape in Dane County
A recent news article produced by WMTV sheds light on a powerful development project in Dane County, where a quiet stretch of rural land is being transformed into a sanctuary for survivors of sex trafficking.
The Zeteo Community, a nonprofit dedicated to building a long-term residential program for women who’ve experienced sexual exploitation, is celebrating a major milestone: the walls of its first two homes are now going up.
“It was overwhelming just seeing the foundations poured,” shared co-founder and executive director Marlene Sorenson. “But now, watching the walls go up—actually seeing it take shape—is just amazing. Overwhelming in the best way.”
