08 Nov Praise & Thanks
In September, Zeteo Community received all zoning approvals necessary to begin building everything designed for the property, answering many prayers lifted throughout this past year. We received words of encouragement and approval from neighbors, city officials, and community leaders alike. Confidently, we know all your prayers offered in hope contributed to these open doors before us. We are humbled by your overwhelming support.Â
This now leads to our next BHAG (Big Heavenly Audacious Goal)! The building costs are elaborate, and to cover every expense we are stepping into this season with faith. God said at the beginning of this journey, “I am an extravagant God, and I love these women and children.” We want all participants arriving on this property to feel and experience God’s extravagant love for them within every detail. To ensure the safety and confidentiality of the women we will serve from day one, all of the construction must be complete prior to anyone moving in. This means we are raising the full cost of the project this year.
Law enforcement and other local agencies remind us often of the immense need Zeteo Community is going to meet in our state and beyond. I am reminded of the verse in Matthew 9:37-38 where Jesus says to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into his harvest.” Will you be praying earnestly with us for wisdom, favor, and how you might be called to partner with what God is doing?
