residential program

The Zeteo Community Residential Program (ZCRP) is unlike anything offered within Dane County, or the state of Wisconsin, at this time. Our program is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and individualized. Each participant’s program is survivor-led, as she is indeed the expert in her own care.

We are here to provide tools, therapeutic services, resources, support, community, a safe environment, as well as the time and focused attention she and her family need in order to heal so she can begin to dream and thrive.

programming model

Our transitional programming is completed in phases, over the course of approximately 12-18 months, helping each participant lay a foundation brick by brick, as she builds sustainability and capacity for independent, empowered living. Each phase is fueled by completing individualized goals developed with her and for her, within her Individualized Care Plan.

phase 1: safety

The primary focus within this phase is helping each participant build her capacity towards the neuro proprioception of safety within her mind, body, and soul. This is accomplished through predictable schedules, consistent trauma-informed staff, clear expectations, high support, space to communicate needs and develop routines, therapeutic services (both in groups and one-on-one), and assistance in accessing medical care and legal resources she may need to feel safe.

phase 2: consistency

The primary focus within this phase is the development of self-consistency so that day-to-day healthy habits can be planted, allowing for healing and growth to take place. In order for sustainable patterns to develop, each participant is encouraged to engage more fully in every aspect of their programming. This includes more self-advocacy within their Individualized Care Plan development and forward planning.

phase 3: discovery

The primary focus within this phase is empowering each participant to develop her self-discovery. As safety and consistency begins to take root, her mind, body, and soul now have more space and freedom to engage creatively. This is demonstrated through their ability to test out different areas of interests, skill sets, strengths, goals, and development of their own support system. All this is done with the same foundations found within Phases 1 and 2, while building more space for added independence. This empowers her to build her own safe boundaries, practice healthy communication styles, develop her own emotional and physical resourcing skills, and practice creating supportive relationships.

phase 4: stability

The primary focus of this phase is establishing stability. During this time, each participant will begin looking towards transitioning out of the Zeteo Community Residential Program. To do this safely and effectively, programming will be focused on financial independence, life skills necessary for independent living, continued consistency with a safe and supportive community, ongoing individual therapy, and establishing her Independent Living Safety Plan, as well as her own consistency and leadership within every other aspect of the program.
